What's involved...

Nick manages the building of houses, annexes, garages, swimming pools, garden rooms, conservatories, home offices and out-buildings as well as builders, contractors and trades people working on the project.

 

Most of his clients start with an initial idea and contact him for advice. Some clients have already consulted an architect or a builder and may have already had some plans drawn, applied for planning permission and made some early enquiries with builders and other trades people.

 

Nick's reputation has grown over the years and clients usually come to him right at the beginning of a project. His complete service includes a design assessment of your ideas and he will usually suggest ideas you may not have considered were possible. Nick can provide you with building plans at a fraction of the cost an architect will charge but he is also happy to work with your architect's plans once they have been submitted and granted permission. He has a thorough knowledge of building regulations and local and national planning requirements and has saved his clients considerable time and money as a result of his expertise and experience.

 

Wherever you are in the process Nick can ensure you realise the potential of your home both as a living space and by adding considerable value for the time when you come to sell your property.

He uses qualified, reputable and respected builders and trades people. He is fully insured for each individual project and aims to complete every project on time and within (and often under) budget.

 

Nick takes time to discuss your initial ideas, make suggestions you may not have thought about and provide you with feedback within a few days of the first meeting. During the projects he will keep you updated on the progress with weekly site meetings and interim progress reports.

From start to finish Nick manages and monitors the building project with your needs as his top priority. He takes the stress and hassle out of having to deal with the tedious bureaucracy involved and ensure that costs are closely monitored.

	Woodbrook Designs are a Monmouth based kitchen and bathroom design company, owned and run by Ann Stevens. Nick recommends Ann's expertise as a kitchen designer and supplier to many of his clients.
	The Rowan Tree in Monmouth for home interior design items and furniture. They stock a small range of high quality traditional and French style wardrobes, beds, tables and occasional furniture as well as ornaments and accessories.
	Homes of Elegance have a superb mix of authentic, vintage and contemporary furniture on display and for sale in their fabulous shop in Abergavenny. If Nick had the choice of only one shop to buy furniture for his own home, Homes of Elegance would win hands down!
	Carrob Growers are specialist tree and plant growers and specialise in fruit trees for orchards, heritage roses, peonies and woodland plants. They stock a specialist range of plants for sale by appointment only.
	Helmi Vaga Interiors is an online interior design service based in Monmouthshire. Nick hasn't personally worked with Helmi but his partner Liz has designed Helmi's website and really likes her work.
